Commissioning an Original Work of Art

Commissions are available on a 4-6 week schedule. You might be inspired by a painting that has already sold or you may have a particular subject matter that interests you – for example, a photo from a special trip or place. In this case, you will need to discuss the specifics for your painting with Stephanie directly.

After deciding on the size, subject matter, framing, and other details, we will send you a price quote for your painting. We require a 1/3 deposit to begin the painting. Nearing completion, we will send you an e-mail with a digital image for your review. Adjustments can be made at this time. After your approval and final payment, the painting will be shipped. If the commissioned work is for a special occasion (such as a birthday or anniversary), please let us know your required date of delivery ahead of time.

Commissioned paintings are created as one of-a-kind. Even when choosing a previously sold painting, this will only be a reference for color schemes and subject matter. Each painting is always unique. Commissioned work also comes with a money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied.
